A few weeks ago, we were welcomed by our French ambassador during his visit to the country. The trip discussed topics such as Guinean talent in France and potential events. Vincennie Sa has been active in the French community for years and ha scouted several players of Guinean origin.

On Sa visit to Bissau he discussed talent in France. Sa has also worked for the French Federation as an MC and game announcer during FIBA ​​3x3 competitions. The Federation is now in discussions about doing a collaborative project with the French basketball federation and clubs to help the national teams interest in Guinea-Bissau.

It is also worth noting that the program received new national team jerseys from Wali Sports in Pakistan. Guinea-Bissau will not participate in the FIBA ​​2025 AfroBasket qualifiers, but intends to make a competitive roster for the next editions.
